Nearly 30 employees at the Quadra Village location of Cascadia Liquor applied for union certification early last week with an overwhelming majority supporting unionization.
By the time the weekend was over, hundreds of people had come by and expressed their support.
Group sent clear message to employer after turning down first agreement with 95% strike vote.
They could be on the picket line as soon as Saturday July 8, and have invited the community to join them throughout the summer for what they are calling Solidarity Saturdays.
The 46 members will see numerous improvements in the three-year agreement.
